Community Day is a monthly event created by Niantic to highlight a Pokémon for a Day. How about if it was possible to pick the next one ? Although this has already been done in the past, the community will be able to choose the Featured Pokémon for September as well as October as specified by the official Pokémon GO Twitter.
Among the available choices, you will find the Pokémon of the first generation Porygon, Charmander, Grimer and Caterpie (Gen 1 again? And again Charmander?!).
Exclusive Moves
Here are the different moves that can be obtained during this Community Day depending on which Pokémon will be chosen via voting. These moves will only be available if you evolve the creature featured during the event.
- Charmander: Dragon Breath
- Grimer: Fire Punch
- Caterpie: Hurricane
- Porygon: Tri Attack
It will therefore be a Twitter poll vote on the Official Twitter Account, on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), and you’ll be able to cast your vote until Sunday, August 23, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7). You’ll have 24 hours to cast one vote for the Pokémon you’d like to see most for either September or October Community Day.
