Season One for Call of Duty:Warzone is in full swing.
The integration of the Black Ops Cold War weapon arsenal has seen a drastic change in the metagame, much to the annoyance of those dropping into Verdansk and Rebirth Island on a regular basis.
One of the major talking points has been the current state of the meta, with the DMR 14 tactical rifle and dual wield Diamatti pistols running rampant as two of the most overpowered weapons ever seen.
While many have been requesting some form of weapon balancing, developer Raven Software has shed some light on the situation.
In a Tweet posted on January 5th, Raven Software has heard the community loud and clear, and has stated that the DMR, Type 63, MAC 10 and dual wield pistols will be nerfed "soon."
An exact date as to when the update would go live has yet to be confirmed, but it can be expected that the update will take place in the not-too-distant future.
