After a success stint designing maps for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, streamer Dr Disrespect has shown that he still has the talent to design maps with his Rogue Company Arena map. With the new content available in Season 1 of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, Dr Disrespect posted a tweet asking Activision to design the next iteration of the Gulag.
Like Rogue Company, he wants to create a small, balanced map.
During an interview, the DOC told us about its vision for its card design:
“I prioritized immediate combat and quick wins in very tight spaces that give players a real chance to outdo their opponents."- Dr Disrespect, interview of his Arena map design on Rogue Company
Based on his Rogue Company map, the idea of high-risk, high-reward gameplay appeals to many as they quickly want to escape the Gulag and redeploy into the ongoing Warzone match.
Activision has yet to respond to Dr. Disrespect's request, but there's always a chance of the flip-phone ringing to discuss a potential makeover of the Gulag.
