The Zero Point plot device in Fortnite has allowed Epic Games to be incredibly diverse in the collaborations it has introduced to Season 5 of its popular title.
The primary objective is to have heroes come to the aid of Agent Jones and save the island from chaos. However, while the season has centered around bounty hunters, collaborations have increasingly deviated from that theme.
This is exacerbated by new datamined game files.
The texture pack discovered by GMatrixGames seems rather odd. It's apparently related to a back bling with the codename "FrenchFry". Traditionally, the first letter of each codename corresponds to a crossover that the skin is based on.
Also within these files is a reel with footage from the series, in particular Peter Griffin confronting Ernie the giant chicken, a scene that has become a running gag for fans of the series.
As always, we'll have to wait and see whether this collaboration bears fruit. With the speed Epic are releasing content, we shouldn't have long to wait.
