TFT: Balance Patch 10.8: A nerf for Shaco and Syndra

The Dark Pulsar origin is considered too strong in Teamfight Tactics. Riot Games has just launched a mid-patch with a nerf for the origin, but also for Shaco and Syndra.

The mech infiltrators / pilots composition is omnipresent in the current Tactical Combat meta as is the full Dark Pulsar variant, which is also very strong. As much as it is fun to be the one playing one of these compositions, it is extremely frustrating to play against.

The most unpleasant champion of these compositions is definitely Shaco, who, as soon as he reaches the two stars and two items, can simply ravage your backline.

Riot Games deployed a patch in the middle of cycle 10.8 to nerf the irritating Goblin of darkness. Syndra also get nerfed, the champion is indeed very (too) strong in the composition Star Guardians / Wizards. These changes are now live on the servers.

Shaco

Base attack damage increased: 50 ⇒ 70
Starting Mana / Total Mana increased: 0/60 ⇒ 30/80
Spell Power decreased: 300% / 325% / 350% ⇒ 200% / 225% / 250%

Syndra

Total Mana increased: 50 ⇒ 65

Dark Pulsar

When a Dark Star unit dies, it increases the attack damage and spell power of all Dark Pulsar units.

(3) → + 25% attack damage and spell power

(6) → + 35% → 30% attack damage and spell power

(9) → + 45% → 35% attack damage and spell power

Add to that a bug fix whereby Xerath could cast his spell while the Guardian Angel raised him.
