Where to find Earthspine for Earth Motes & Earth Reagents in New World

Earthspines are a plant found in the wilds of New World which players can harvest for the following Earth Reagents:

  • Earth Mote
  • Earthspine Stem
  • Earthspine Leaf
  • Earthspine Flower
  • Enchanted Earth (Sliver, Shard, Chunk)

Tall plants that are deceptively similar to Blightroot, you can distinguish them by the glowing green spine sticking out the top. They are plentiful in a handful of territories.

Here's what you'll need and where the best areas are to find Earthspines in New World.

What do you need Earthspine for in New World?

Earth Motes are used in a whole load of concoctions, including potions and coatings, and the cutting of Emerald and Amber gemstones. It is also a key resource in crafting the Elemental Heart, a mid-level reagent in ultimately creating Tuning Orbs and Voidbent Ingots.

The various parts of the Earthspine plant are also used in Arcana concoctions. You'll need Luck to get the Earthspine Flower.

There's also a small chance that the various levels of the Enchanted Earth resource will drop.

In order to harvest Earthspine, you'll need a Harvesting Sickle. There's a level requirement of 30 to harvest them, and you'll be able to track Earthspine nodes from Harvesting Skill Lv. 45.

The best locations to farm Earthspine in New World

As mentioned, Earthspine are plentiful in the southern half of Aeternum. These are the clusters we think are best for power-farming.

Lakeside Farm - Monarch's Bluffs

A good, quick route to get some Earthspine is to perform a wide lap around the Lakeside Farm region of Monarch's Bluffs.

Nodes are particularly plentiful on the northeast side, between the farm and Farside Township.

Faith's Bounty - Everfall

With nodes both to the south and north of the Faith's Bounty area, it's easy to do a quick circular lap and sweep them up.

Head directly east from the settlement for the first nodes, head north towards the Meadow Lake Fishery, then east in the direction of Daybreak.

Weaver's Fen

A route that largely follows a straight line, you can start at the South Pestilence Shrine and then head gradually northwest towards the Vega Bridge, continuing across and past Karburg and Periville.

Then, follow the stream further northwest for more nodes.

Grenville - Windsward

Another great location for an in-and-out farming session, this area is located right outside the Windsward settlement.

Head out through the north exit and follow the northwest branch of the path as if you were heading to Delphinus. Then, once you've collected the nodes, arc back southwest to Bullrush Wash, then Harplass Homestead.
