With a kit consisting entirely of pokes and friendly buffs, Sona has no problem at all with picking up Aery. In red, Champion is also a good choice, and while it will force you to play cautiously to avoid dying, that sort of gameplay suits Sona perfectly.
In green, Loyalty is perfect if you are able to stay near your AD Carry, as it provides both you with bonus defensive stats. In blue, Manaflow Band will quickly let you tap into a well of additional mana, which is essential at the end of the match when you'll need to buff your team constantly.
