Although it got off to a bad start, due to server bugs, the Fortnite x Star Wars event took place at Risky Reels on Saturday morning. Not being able to connect to attend the event live, our sreenshots were taken from the Solary stream.
- The Millennium Falcon lands at Risky Reels.
- The spaceship lands and a host arrives. He's followed by J.J. Abrams, modelled in the game.
- After a short discussion, a giant screen appears revealing the exclusive movie scene. This short extract was presented as "Jedi Mind Trick" during which Rey using Force on two stormtroopers to convince them to let them pass.
- Once the extract finished, NPCs are forced to return to the Millennium Falcon because of the attack of the Siths.
- As everyone disappears into the sky, calm returns. A box full of lightsabers appears! Players hasten to equip themselves with them to engage in a real Jedi battle!
The event ends but the collaboration doesn't: leaked skins and new challenges have appeared — not to mention the lightsabers that remain available in-game for the moment.
