A number of leaks have suggested that a battle royale mode may be coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in the coming weeks.
Data miners have found references named "BR in the PC files of Modern Warfare. This is suggesting that a BR mode for the game is imminent.
Prior to the release of the game, it was rumored that a battle royale mode would be released in 2020 and it being free-to-play. Some leaks suggested that developer Raven Software will be supporting the mode but it was dismissed by Infinity Ward, who stated that a battle royale mode was not going to be in Modern Warfare.

Missions & Mission Types
The missions will unlock when you have looted a tablet. One mission can be active at any one time.
Missions

- Random (Random Mission)
If no bounty is available for the assassination mission, players will receive consolation plunder instead.
When a mission is started or completed, the entire squad will be notified by an on-screen message.
Respawn
Like in other BR titles, it looks like it will be possible to respawn through tokens that are looted. After one use, the respawn tokens are disabled for that player.
To respawn a teammate, loot a respawn token then drop their downed body near an ambulance. Once the body is at the ambulance, the player will enter the Gulag queue for a chance to win a 1v1 and get back into the fight.
At some point, the Gulag will close, preventing any respawns in the match.
Once a player has respawned, they must locate and activate a mobile armoury to retrieve their loadout.
Loot
- Rarities: White, Green, Blue, Purple, Gold
- Limited inventory space.
- Requisition Airdrop Timer: 30 seconds
- All weapons, attachments, equipment, field upgrades and killstreaks and multiplayer will be available.
- Cannot hold two of the same weapon.
- Cannot take armour of lower level than currently equipped.
- Attachments that are incompatible with the current weapon will be placed in the backpack.
- Supply Crates contain potentially valuable equipment or items.
Armour
- Helmet LVL 1: Reduces headshot damage by 30, reduces the effect of flash and stun grenades.
- Helmet LVL 1: Reduces headshot damage by 30.
- Helmet LVL 1: Reduces headshot damage by 15.
- Ballistic Vest LVL 1: Absorbs 50 damage.
- Ballistic Vest LVL 2: Absorbs 250 damage.
- Ballistic Vest LVL 3: Absorbs 150 damage and increases healing item usage by 25.
Plunder
Earn plunder by completing missions and killing enemies. Purchase game-changing items at plunder box locations.
Collect plunder and convert it into XP by depositing it into ATM machines located across the map.
- The player who collects the most plunder in a match will be named Best Plunderer.
- There is a minimum amount of plunder required before depositing in the bank.
- Plunder dropped from eliminated enemies expires after some time.
- When a player enters a bank, the bank alarm will sound, alerting all enemies in the area.
The Gulag
When enabled, players will have the chance to get back into the game by winning a 1v1 fight.
The Gulag acts as a king of the hill gauntlet, meaning players in the Gulag queue will spectate the fighting players. There will be a countdown on the screen indicating how many rounds are left until you fight.
A Jail Break happens every so often and kicks all players out the Gulag and back into the game.
Players have the ability to place bets on the players who are fighting using plunder.
