November 2019 was a very eventful month! With the Blizzcon, the arrival of the new Battlegrounds game mode and the approach of the next expansion: Descent of Dragons, Hearthstone surely received a load of new features!
This month we're celebrating the dead with this Cake of the Dead card back!
Baked for the deads (and the undead) this card back also celebrates their return that was announced alongside the next expansion... So, yeah it might be a good idea to be nice with the legions that will soon spread onto Azeroth! Let's just hope that they like it — otherwise, we're pretty doomed.
The theme of this card back is obviously making reference to the Mexican holiday called "Dia de Muertos", the equivalent of Halloween. Do you remember the pretty makeups that some of your friends did on October 31st? You know — a white face with dark eyes, surrounded by colorful flowers.
Look at the corners of the card back: do you see the cartoony masks? Yup, they're also inspired by "La Calavera Catrina", the Lady of the Dead, like your friends' makeups.
Anyway, this red fruit chocolate cake makes us hungry! Yummy: 3
