The Outer Worlds is on general release tomorrow, but a few viewers were able to play it earlier. Ten of thousands people tried to commandeer the game on Twitch Plays and the results were... unexpected!
What is Twitch Plays?
Think of it like a playthrough of a game, but conducted by people in the chat room for the channel. Viewers use commands and choose what to do in the game.
Chat was very impressive, too! They managed to complete the entire tutorial in less than 20 minutes. After that, they met the first NPC in the game, an employee trapped in a cave. Viewers had a choice, but they choose the command 'RT' - the shooty-shoot button - and killed the poor man!
Some thought it was bad, others that it was a good thing, but everyone agreed that it was funny!
Few updates for the moment in this patch 1.42 which purpose is mainly to modify the workshop and fix bugs. A new gameplay option to improve the precision mouse input has been released!
