The Overwatch Halloween Terror event is back again to give us some fears and rewards. It also marks the return of Junkenstein's Revenge PvE game mode — highly appreciated by the community.

Overwatch Halloween Terror brings back Junkenstein's Revenge game mode

The event Halloween Terror 2019 is already live on Overwatch! New cosmetics are to be earned and those from previous editions are back. Several exclusive game modes — including Dr. Junkenstein's Revenge — are also available during this Halloween event — which will take place from October 15 to November 4.

Game modes

Junkenstein's Revenge

Overwatch

Play as the Soldier (Soldier 76), the Archer (Hanzo), the Gunslinger (McCree) or the Alchemist (Ana) to repel the attack of Dr. Junkenstein (Junkrat) and his army of omniacs from Adlersbrunn Castle. You will need a relentless team cohesion to keep the doors close because Junkenstein will not be alone — being supported by his Monster (Chopper), his ally the devious Witch of the Wilds (Mercy) and his henchmen; the bloodthirsty Reaper and the mysterious Summoner (Symmetra).

Junkenstein's Revenge: Endless Night

Overwatch

Choose from more than 10 heroes to face Dr. Junkenstein's army's infinite assaults. All you have to do is survive the 12 waves of the normal mode and the ones that will be perpetually following until you die. The goal is to stay alive as long as possible to be included in the final ranking.

Weekly challenges

Weekly challenges are back on Overwatch with Halloween Terror! Win quick, competitive or arcade games to unlock terrifying tags, icons and skins for Junkrat, Baptiste and Sombra.

Unlock Demon Hunter Sombra skin during this Halloween Terror weekly challenge!

Play to win. This is the simple principle of these weekly challenges in Overwatch. Three of them will be held during the Halloween Terror event.

3V3 competitive elimination

If it is not connected to Halloween, it will be available during the event. In a team of three you can compete to reach the highest level of this competitive mode. As with classic competitive games, you can earn rewards and competitive points based on your final rank.

Overwatch has launched Season 2 of the 3V3 elimination mode

The competitive 3V3 elimination mode returns to Overwatch for a second season with the Halloween Terror event.

Halloween is here, heroes! Don't weaken and fight against these hordes of omniacs!
