Fortnite Season 11 due to start on October 13

Fornite Season 10 is coming to an end, and various leaks are revealing a lot of content — which leads to many questions. Here is all the information we have about Season 11 of Epic Games' battle royale title.

Fortnite Season 11 due to start on October 13

Epic Games' latest press release was formal: Fortnite's Season 10 end event will be held LIVE on Sunday, October 13. At the same time, this date will mark the end of the current season. However, Epic had initially — during the deployment of v10.40.1 — mentioned a launch of Season 11 "during the week of October 14". Several days between the end of Season 10 and the beginning of Season 11 would have been expected.

This is not the case. Many Fortnite dataminers — such as Hypex or ShiinaBR — have confirmed that Season 11 will start on Sunday, October 13. The information was relayed by GameSpot, and even if Epic Games has not yet confirmed anything, it is extremely credible.

Battle Pass

Based on prices in previous seasons of Fortnite, the Season 11 Battle Pass should cost 950 V-Bucks — and you'll have to spend more V-Bucks to gain levels before anyone else. Here are all the details:

  • Basic Battle Pass: 950 V-Bucks
  • Battle Bundle (Battle Pass + 25 tiers): 2,800 V-Bucks
  • Special Sale: 2,500 V-Bucks + 300 bonus

New map?

Fortnite

Several leaks have seemingly shown us a new map for Fortnite Season 11. New locations have been unveiled by Lucas7yoshi. They aren't known on the current map:

  • Beachy Bluffs
  • Camp Cod
  • Creative Island
  • Dirty Docks
  • Frenzy Farm
  • Holly Hedges
  • Lazy Lake
  • Mountain MeadowPower Planet
  • Slurpy Swamp
  • Sunny Shores
  • Weeping Woods

It makes us wonder if Epic Games has been preparing a new map, meaning a tearful goodbye to the famous island that has been home for 10 seasons already. It wouldn't be surprising, considering that the developers of Apex Legends — Fortnite's biggest competitor — has just announced the imminent arrival of a new map on October 1.

What can we expect for next season?

Several elements have led to a very brutal or dramatic end to Season 10, in particular because of the "Seven", B.R.U.T.E.S. and the Visitor — who remains enigmatic on the role he will have in Fortnite's story.

For the moment, nothing has been made official by Epic Games, so stay tuned for more news about Fortnite Season 11.
