Pokémon GO Fest 2022: He steals a piece of the stand and gets banned from the game!

During the Pokémon GO Fest 2022 in Berlin, one of the participants had fun stealing an object from the decor, which earned him a temporary ban from the application. But that's not the only thing he did to earn the hatred of other players...

This weekend from July 1 to 3, 2022 took place the Pokémon GO Fest in Berlin. After a successful digital world edition, this physical event has attracted the interest of many German fans but also foreigners from all over the world. It is exactly at the Britzer Garden, a gigantic park in Berlin, that the festival took place, bringing together thousands of players under the sun. A framework obviously conducive to walking and taking breaks under the refreshing shade of the trees.

With their one-day ticket directly purchasable on their phone, the trainers were then able to visit the park while capturing hundreds of Pokémon hoping to come across their famous chromatic versions. But the GO Fest offered many other activities that one player in particular did not hesitate to squat all day in order to collect many goodies . A rudeness that was not very well received by Internet users on Twitter, having also understood that he had stolen one of the objects from the decor.

Stealing the Pokémon GO Fest decor: a permanent ban from the game?

On site, players could enjoy the entire park and the Niantic teams had prepared many sets, especially at the locations of the 4 biomes of the event. In the electric garden, for example, you could find steel structures but also a huge inflatable Snorlax. On the windy coast, you could admire a lighthouse and walk on sand at the water's edge. On the rocky volcano side, a small replica of a volcano could be photographed and for the meadow, we found beautiful poisonous plants and even a raspberry berry hanging from a tree. One of the highlights of the event was a medium-sized 10km egg , which of course players could take a picture of.

For a whole day, this egg unfortunately disappeared: a trainer had simply taken it to his hotel room! He then had the good idea to post a photo of his treasure on Twitter and the Niantic teams did not fail to notice it, which obviously earned him a ban on Pokémon GO. Regretting his gesture and wishing to find his precious account on the application, he brought the egg back on Sunday morning and was debanned. A punishment deemed far too light by Internet users, but a question torments us: how could he leave with such a large egg from the event? The available entries were all guarded by several staff members.

An unappreciated player in the Pokémon GO community

Now known on the web thanks (or because) of his now deleted tweet, the trainer very quickly became a source of hatred on the social network. In addition to having stolen the egg from the decor, it was above all its other loot that made the other players of the event uneasy: in various places in the park, it was possible to participate in sorts of raffle where players could answer questions about the game and compare their Pokémon in order to obtain exclusive goodies. Although these are "small" objects such as badges of the event, stickers or key rings of the Red, Yellow and Blue teams, the objective was to distribute them to as many people as possible. participants, especially the children. So, when someone won the prizes once or twice, they could stop and simply give way or give the goodies to someone else.

Obviously, the egg thief will not have been able to contain himself and won about twenty gifts, which will not have failed to anger Twitter users.

Diablo Immortal: Honest Game Trailers Doesn't Hold Back

As the days go by, the defenders of Blizzard's latest title are becoming fewer and fewer, while the incriminating elements pile up ever higher, and the studio remains silent. It's the turn of the YouTube channel specializing in brutally honest trailers to get started.
