Riot Games has finally come out of its silence to talk about the new features coming to League of Legends. The developer focused on the new champions and offered new details on the upcoming void Jungler, the next champion to join Summoner's Rift.

Riot Games has unveiled a lot of information regarding the future of League of Legends in its new champion action plan. True to his word, the developer notably gave additional details on the jungler – who could be called Bel'Veth. The next champion to join Summoner's Rift is one of the most anticipated characters, as he will finally bring a new creature to the game as well as a new Void dweller .

However, and with no official confirmation on the name or release date, the company has revealed a lot of interesting details.

Bel'Veth, the new champion who will subjugate other champions

As usual in this kind of preview, Riot Games left it to the players to interpret certain elements. However, they were keen to put forward several revealing gameplay ideas. First, the new champion was portrayed as a Void Empress, capable of subduing all other characters . An idea that builds on his original reveal at the start of Season 12, in which the developer giving the first details about him hinted that the character could control minds.

In this latest teaser, it is not specified how this mechanism capable of making all the other champions obey will work. However, it seems that you can also voluntarily accept: "Those who voluntarily accept will be rewarded by joining the ever-expanding Sea of Lavender, whose waves crash into enemy defensive structures. Offer yourself to your Empress and let her feast on your essence, so that you can become part of the new evolution in Runeterra. In addition, if you succumb to her, you will also be able to contemplate her true elegance, her real beauty, and the true face of Nothingness."

A text that ends with a strange reference to the Portal video game and which left the League of Legends community very intrigued: "How can I refuse? Me, I already gave myself in January, and even if there was no of cake , I still had a great time. So what are you waiting for?"

Riot Games had already mentioned that this new champion will be quite complex compared to the others – and this unique mechanic will perhaps be the key to the gameplay of this jungler . Unfortunately, there haven't been any new details on a release date, although Bel'Veth's arrival should be imminent and shouldn't be delayed more than a patch or two.
