It's rare for a game as big as Elden Ring to announce PC specs so late — just two weeks before release — and these were discovered directly on its Steam page . We can assume that the developers have tried to optimize their game as much as they could in order to be able to run Elden Ring on the most cheap machines possible. Buying a new high-end graphics card is more difficult than ever with the shortage of semiconductors. Unfortunately, we will have to wait a little longer for the Recommended configuration and the Ultra one ; only the minimum one is available at the moment. Expect to have to adjust your graphics settings for the best gaming experience.
Update: This information has now been removed from the Steam page. It is possible that they are wrong, some people hope it was the Recommended configuration.
Elden Ring: Minimum System Requirements (before Steam page update)

- Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X
- RAM: 12 GB
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, 3 GB or AMD Radeon RX 580, 4 GB
- DirectX: Version 12
- Disk space: 60 GB
The size of the game may seem small for an open world, but FromSoftware has the reputation of being good at compressing their games as much as possible. Additionally, the game could be available with different texture packs, depending on the platform. The eecommended version should weight 80 GB when it becomes available.
It only remains for you to decide if there is still time to order new components for your PC, or even a new machine for example. The component crisis is likely to extend into 2023, so don't expect lower prices in the near future.
For the record, Elden Ring is coming to PC (obviously), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series on this February 25th, 2022.
