With the LEC Spring 2021 regular season over, and ahead of European League of Legends' big final today, the winners of the MVP, Rookie of the Split, and Community All-Pro Team awards have been revealed.
Rekkles named MVP in debut G2 split
After a high-profile move from deadly rivals Fnatic, Martin "Rekkles" Larsson pretty much picked up where he left off with his performances. Showing great synergy with Mihael "Mikyx" Mehle in the botlane, the pair helped lead G2 to first place in the Regular Season.
Despite just missing out on the Grand Final, Rekkles has now been honoured for his displays in his debut split with the superstar roster.
Rogue pair Kacper "Inspired" Słoma and Andrei "Odoamne" Pascu were second and third in the voting, which featured experts from around the world of European League of Legends.
Elyoya rewarded for exciting plays with Rookie of the Split
MAD Lions' young Spaniard Javier "Elyoya" Prades Batalla has proved a breath of fresh air in the LEC this split after his move from Movistar Riders in the close season.
With MAD now about to face off with Rogue for a history-making title, the jungler has now been recognised for his efforts this split.
SK Gaming support Erik "Treatz" Wessén and Rogue support Adrian "Trymbi" Trybus were runners up in the voting.
G2 sweep Community All-Pro vote
The final award of the split, voted for by the public, all five players from G2 were voted onto the All-Pro Team.
The defending champions finished tied for first in the regular season with Rogue, with Inspired and Odoamne perhaps unfortunate to miss out.
However, it just highlights how close the LEC was this split, with a thrilling final set to crown a new champion that isn't G2 or Fnatic for the first time since Alliance took home the crown in Summer 2014.
Here you'll find the schedule and all the match results as the League of Legends European Championship heads into the business end of the 2021 Spring Split.
