In a recent interview with Famitsu, Final Fantasy VII Remake Director Tetsuya Nomura spoke about the future of the FFVII universe.
To begin with, Intergrade, the exclusive PS5 new story featuring Yuffie, will be the only DLC before the release of Remake "Part Two". This time around, Yuffie is the only playable character, though she can do "combo attacks" with the other main protagonist, Sonon. Also, she'll count with new summons and Materia.
Regarding Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, the title's aim is to bring players who have never experienced the franchise before. Furthermore, it's likely it will have a job system of some kind.
Finally, some Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis announcements were made. The title's chapters will be free, but it will have a gacha system for weapons. Moreover, it'll contain original content, such as young Sephiroth and other characters that will appear in the next FFVII Remake.
The japanese live stream will feature Resident Evil Village and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.
