Wild Rift: Patch note 2.1

We don't know the release date, nut we do know the outlines of the Wild Rift 2.1 patch. This major update will bring fresh content throughout February and March, and will be punctuated by three balancing patches (2.1a, 2.1b and 2.1c) that will focus on nerfs and buffs.

Patch preview

Riot Games have said that all the new features presented below do not constitute the totality of the contents of patch 2.1. Other surprises and changes may happen along the way.

Rakan and Xayah

The two eternal lovers will lead the dance in Wild Rift in February. These two champions will play on the duo lane and will probably come out to celebrate Valentine's Day.

Replay and spectator modes

Wild Rift will soon have a spectator mode to watch other players, and a replay mode to review your wins and defeats in order to progress faster.

Lunar Beasts Event

Little information has leaked out about this future large-scale event. However, we imagine that it will be the guideline of the game for the month of February.

Four champions will be released in March: Katarina, Leona, Diana and Pantheon. Riot Games specifies that the last three will be released around mid-March.

Path of Ascension Event

Path of Ascension is the big event taking place in March. For now, we have no information whatsoever, but there is a good chance that Pantheon, Diana and Leona will have a role to play.

New skins

New sets of skins are also in the works. Zed will have his own PROJECT skin, and Omega Squad Teemo will also join the Rift. Other skins belonging to these cosmetic sets could also appear.
