The Animal Crossing: New Horizons latest update — patch 1.28.20 — will be available from January 28, 2021.
Pavé the Peacock and the Festivale
On February 15, 2021 you will be able to enjoy the Festivale with Pavé. You will have to collect the different colored feathers that twirl around your island to bring them back to Pavé and win prizes — such as furniture or special Festivale clothes.
These new pieces of furniture will be in the colors of Brazil, the country where the famous Rio Carnival takes place every year.
Starting February 1, 2021 new Festivale costumes will be available at the Able Sisters shop for a limited time.
New reactions
Four new emotes will be available with the update. You will be able to buy them directly at Nook's Cranny (in the closet). This set includes the following mimics: Feelin' It, Let's Go, Viva and Confetti.
New seasonal items
From February 1 to 14, 2021 players will be able to buy Chocolate Hearts and the Rose Bouquet Heart to celebrate Valentine's day.

The trailer also reminds us that a collaboration with the Mario Bros franchise will launch in March. The Mario Furniture Series will be available again.
The official press release also reveals that from March 26, 2021 the Sanrio Collaboration Pack Animal Crossing will be available for purchase at selected retailers and online in Europe. The pack contains all six amiibo cards from a unique Sanrio series.
