The traditional winter break is coming to an end, with Epic Games offering us a new Fortnite update.
Patch 15.20 is being deployed, and comes almost a month after the Christmas update.
Update 15.20 has been deployed. Maintenance is complete and the servers are available. You can play the game once the installation is finished.
Very little datamining has been possible ahead of Patch 15.20. This is mainly due to the fact that Epic Games is encrypting more files to minimize leaks of future Fortnite content.
However, the publisher did release a short list of changes contained in v15.20 overnight.
New Exotic: Hop Rock Dualies
Powerful twin pistols, capable of killing an opponent with a single shot.
Something Stirs in the Jungle
Clues to the secret skin included in the Battle Pass will become visible at Stealthy Stronghold.
Pre-Edit Options: Redux
New adjustments have been made to the "disable pre-edit" option.
With the "disable pre-edit" option checked, all structures will be non-editable until they're placed, ensuring you have the right surface at the right time.
This type of pre-patch description from Epic Games is often incomplete. It doesn't usually include weapon nerfs or updates, for example. In addition, each patch is accompanied by a series of bug fixes.
We'll publish a much more exhaustive patch notes once the update is deployed!
