Things are starting to take shape for League of Legends: Wild Rift. The patch note 2.0, released on January 5th, announces the arrival of several new features.
Along with various bug fixes, new champions, free heroes rotation and events, it seems that the competitive scene of Wild Rift is about to begin, with the imminent arrival of the very first ranked season.
The beginning of Season 1
The developers of Riot Games announced that Season 1 will officially begin on January 8, 2021.
Note that the rankings will be partially reset for season 1 and that the ranking mode will be unavailable for 3-4 hours to ensure the transition between seasons.
The rewards of Season 0
The ranked games have been available since the game was released at the beginning of December. In what has been called season 0, players from all over the world were able to compete against each other.
Here are the rewards that you will be able to get very soon:
- A participation icon, available to everyone who has launched at least one ranked game.
- An emblem for Gold and above players.
