Genshin Impact's second major event will arrive with Update 1.2 leading to the Dragonspine area. We remind you that the latter will feature Albedo and will allow you to obtain a 4-star rarity weapon called "Festering Desire".

How to unlock it
- Have completed Albedo's story quest "Princeps Cretaceus Chapter"
During the event period, the Albedo Story Quest will be unlockable for players with Adventure Rank 20 or higher, not 40. In addition, no Legendary Key will be required to complete it.
How to participate
- Completed Prologue: Act II "For a Tomorrow Without Tears."
- Adventure Rank greater than or equal to 20

The Event Store will be available with the release of Update 1.2 and will remain open until January 23, 2021.
Details on the Chalk Prince and the Dragon event
After the start of Act 1, you will be able to obtain Rime-Worn Fragments and Frost Crystals. Just like the Unreconcilled Stars event, quests will be available that will allow you to obtain various rewards. In addition, by strengthening the weapon "Festering Desire", you will be able to obtain other additional rewards. And finally, here are some additional details that you may find useful.
- Glimmering Essence, Warm Essence, and Miraculous Essence can be redeemed for rewards in the Event Shop.
- Completing all of the quests associated with each of the first three parts of the event will unlock a “Festering Desire” special effect each time.
- During the event, these special effects will only be active in the Dragonspine area in the open world and not in dungeons.
- The number of essences obtained during the challenges will depend on your level. of the world.
- You will gain a weapon experience bonus if you emhance "Festering Desire" during the event.
Genshin Impact update 1.2 is coming on Wednesday and to your delight the cold will be present but don't worry because new weapons and new artifacts are also in the game!
