LCK fans were not spared during this transfer season. After Kang "GorillA" Beom-hyun and Lee "Crown" Min-ho, another League of Legends monument decided to retire. Kuro, who started playing at the highest level in 2013 at Incredible Miracle, has had many adventures during his career. ROX Tigers, Afreeca Freecs and KT Rolster, he played for many teams in South Korea.
He won a championship title and 3 participations in the Worlds. He has never won the competition but can be proud of his consistency with a quarter, half and final to his credit.
He also briefly tried his luck in China with Bilibili Gaming without much success.
Kuro explained that he originally wanted to play for another year. However, he has to complete the South Korean compulsory military service, which lasts several months.
Kuro has finished his life as a player, but he doesn't intend to cut all ties with League of Legends. The community will be able to watch him stream, and maybe becoming coach — once his military service is over.
The next legend to retire might be Song "Smeb" Kyung-ho. Also without a team since he left KT, he might end its player career soon if he doesn't find a project. It seems that Korean veterans are on the verge of extinction.
