Version 14.60 of Fortnite was mistakenly deployed at around 4am on all Xbox consoles. This means that Xbox players can play once the patch installation is complete, but will not be able to join friends who play on other platforms.

A rudimentary note patch has been provided to some Fortnite-like influencers and content creators. Here are its key points:
- Expanded creative hospitality: new portals that take you to popular islands for training or fun.
- New LTM tab that alternates between the most popular games in the community.
- New feature to add video chat via Houseparty.
Other new features will also be included, and it's very likely that this v14.60 will contain de facto the files of the closing event of Chapter 2 Season 4.
