After the Fall update, it's the turn of the cold season to settle on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. On the program, a whole lot of festivities to be carried out on your paradise island.
When will the winter update be released?
The update will be available on November 19, 2020 (around 5 a.m.) on Nintendo Switch. You just need to update your game to access it for free.
Turkey Day
On November 26, you will be able to participate in a brand new event and meet Franklin the turkey chef. Formerly at the head of the harvest festival in the previous games, this time it will be necessary to help him to cook a good winter soup by giving him ingredients like pumpkins.
Toy Day
Christmas is coming ! On December 24th on Animal Crossing, you can celebrate Toy Day in the snow. This will be an opportunity to please the villagers of your island but above all to meet Jingle. Your objective will then be to distribute Jingle's gifts to all your neighbors in order to win great rewards.
Other new features
- A pack of 9 new Reactions will be on sale at Nook Stop: "Hip Reaction Collection" for 2700 miles. The new expressions are: sit down, wave goodbye, take a picture, sniff sniff, work out, yoga, here you go, excited, ta-da.
- A pack of 6 new hairstyles also: "Top 6 Stylish Hairstyles" for 1800 miles.
- Winter is the time to catch snowflakes with your net,
- New winter and Christmas furniture will be available.
- The maximum storage space in your home increases to 2,400 places!
- Save data transfer will be available from November 19, 2020.
And as always, Nintendo teases us the future update at the end of January with Pavé the peacock. We can therefore wait for the return of Carnival on Animal Crossing!
