Korean League of Legends top laner and North American resident Heo "Huni" Seung-hoon is set to join TSM in the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) for 2021, according to investigative journalist Jacob Wolf. The rumor was announced live on Jacob Wolf's free agency show on his Twitch channel.

Huni's upcoming transition to NA residency allows TSM to sign an import at the support role as the player Huni is reportedly replacing, top lane carry Sergen "Broken Blade" Çelik, occupied one such slot. The news further throws free agency into disarray as Evil Geniuses are left searching for a top laner, with Eric "Licorice" Ritchie up for grabs since his departure from Cloud9.

The Korean top laner has qualified to the World Championship as a top laner in three regions: in 2015, his rookie year, he uplifted European-side Fnatic to the semifinals. In 2017, as a member of SK Telecom T1, he helped Heo "Faker" Seung-hoon reach his third World Championship, one that was lost to Samsung Galaxy 0-3. Although Clutch Gaming were outmatched in the 2019 World Championship in 2019, his qualification allowed him to perform the historical feat — the only possible improvement being a qualification from a Chinese team.

The move would free Broken Blade to potentially join Schalke 04 Esports and reunite with mid laner Felix "Abbedagge" Braun, as initially rumored by anonymous insider Wooloo on Twitter. Broken Blade and Abbedagge nearly qualified to the World Championship as members of Royal Youth in 2018 before either player made their debut in a major region, before exploring their professional careers at the highest level on different teams.
