Ahead of the release of the Black Ops Cold War beta, Treyarch has unveiled details surrounding a brand-new game mode known as VIP Escort.
The main objective of this multiplayer mode is to safely escort a VIP from one area to another without harming them. The goal is to eliminate the entire opposing team or to reach the extraction point with the VIP.
Defending players will need to prevent the enemy VIP from escaping before your team is eliminated. This game features no respawning so it's important to be aware of your surroundings.Players can revive their downed teammates before they die, adding another element of strategy to the mode.
Scorestreaks will be disabled and players will have access to their usual loadouts, with the exception of the VIP, who is armed with a pistol, two smoke grenades, two frag grenades, a Field Mic, and a Spy Plane.
