With teams finishing assembling their rosters and a hierarchy starting to establish itself between the squads, maybe it's time to leave the Ignitions Series behind to build a slightly more structured stage in Valorant.
Riot Games is obviously of the same opinion and announces the First Strike tournament whose final phases will be organized directly by the publisher and which will award the winner with the title of best team in its region.
First Strike will take place in Europe, North America, Asia, Latin America and Brazil. To qualify, teams will have to earn points at various events organized in their region — just like the Ignition Series. The eight teams with the most points win the right to take part in the First Strike tournament itself, which will be played between December 3 and 6.
No doubt that the results of these tournaments will be closely followed and that standing out will increase the chances of joining a future closed league. For teams from all over the world, the stakes are enormous.
