Valorant Ignition Series: BLAST Twitch Invitational

Valorant Ignition Series will end with a final European stage organized by the Danish organization BLAST.

Valorant Ignition Series: BLAST Twitch Invitational

The Danish organisation BLAST has been organising CS:GO tournaments for several years. Although it recently made a name for itself with its abortive partnership with the futuristic Saudi city NEOM, it hopes to make a bigger splash by organising the last European stage of the Valorant Ignition Series. It will be played in a small committee, as there are only four participating teams.

General Information

  • Dates: September 11-13
  • Participants: Four teams
  • Format: Double bracket final phase
  • Prize Pool: €50,000

List of participants

G2 Esports

The team took it all in its Valorant ignition Series. While it has won all the competitions in which it has been involved so far, it showed some signs of weakness in the Allied Esports Odyssey where it lost its first match. The competition is getting closer but the team remains the clear favorite for the tournament.

Team Liquid

Team Liquid has only officially launched in Valorant a month ago. Players have already developed automatisms, as they used to play together at fish123. The team includes CS:GO legend Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom. After having missed his last tournament, the team will be keen to make up for it.

FunPlus Phoenix

A very strong team that can count on its captain Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow to lead the charge. It was they who inflicted the first defeat in G2 Esports' history. While the roster has won a minor online tournament recently, it now hopes to claim a major title.

Ninjas in Pyjama

A well known esports organization that excels in several disciplines and that is accustomed to the places of honor. The team hopes to pass a milestone in this tournament organised by BLAST.
