As the year comes to a close, nominees are being revealed in stages for the Esports Awards 2020. With Daigo Umehara already named for a Lifetime Achievement award, here is the full list of nominees for the 2020 event.

Another year, another awards season.

It's been a strange one, with events and competitions significantly impacted by the global health crisis, but nevertheless esports have found a way to keep going.

As such, the Esports Awards recognise all those who have helped entertain millions around the globe, as well as those who provide top-level action.

Daigo Umehara to receive Esports Awards Lifetime Achievement award

A true legend of the FGC, Daigo has spent more than two decades at the top of his game. Now, the Japanese pro is to be honoured as the first inductee of the Esports Awards Lifetime Achievement Class of 2020.
