What are the mysterious panels for? With their false air of solar panels, they appeared with Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4. Grouped together in the northeast of the map, when you trace the different locations they actually form a large circle that includes Frenzy Farm and part of Craggy Cliffs.
During the last season, players had seen a flood of the map, so we can expect another big surprise from Epic Games. If we don't know officially yet what these boards have in store for us, the theories are going well.
Several Theories
The community has noticed that while the signs are currently static and harmless, in the season's trailer they appear activated. They seem to emit a field of energy, which would create a kind of greenish colored energy protection dome. They shouldn't remain inactive indefinitely.
What would be the purpose of this energy field deployed in the sky? While waiting for the official answer, fans are enjoying themselves and developing theories. Some believe that the panels would open a dimensional portal. This one could well lead to the map of the next season.
Others think that the Marvel Universe is a trap to attract Galactus, a cosmic entity that feeds on the energy of living planets. It was discovered on screen in the movie Doctor Strange and is also present in the trailer. It's the most popular theory in the community — at least for the moment.
