Jason "JasonR" Ruchelski won't be with FaZe Clan for very long. The former CS: GO player has decided to leave the structure following internal disagreements. He doesn't give up the competition so far and is looking for a new project.

Valorant: FaZe Clan loses its captain JasonR

A few weeks ago, Faze Clan announced its desire to build a quality Valorant roster by recruiting Jason " JasonR " Ruchelski as captain. A seasoned CS: GO player, he was to bring his experience and science of the game to younger teammates. However, the FaZe Clan project took a bad turn since its captain decided to leave the team, in disagreement with the organization.

A collaboration that did not last long

A very brief collaboration

JasonR joined Faze Clan on June 25th. Barely a month has passed and the two parties have already separated by mutual agreement. In the end, it was wasted time since JasonR did not participate in any competition within the team, which had at the last moment canceled its participation in the Pax Invitational for an unknown reason.

Recruitment continues at FaZe Clan for the Valorant Ignition Series.

Currently the team is composed of only 3 players:

  • Corey " corey " Nigra
  • Zachary " ZachaREEE " Lombardo
  • Jimmy " Marved " Nguyen

Reasons for separation

We don't know all the details of the story yet, but it seems that Jason "JasonR" Ruchelski was unhappy at Faze Clan. He publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with the team's recruitment. As captain, he would have liked to have had his say in the matter, and he wouldn't have been consulted enough to his liking. In protest, he was no longer training with the team, despite his role as captain.

He didn't wish to play with players he had not selected himself, so he decided to leave the ship in search of a project where he would be more important. No information was leaked regarding his future destination.
