That's not something we're used to seeing in America or Europe, but it's commonplace in the League of Legends Chinese pro scene. Invictus Gaming's support player Su "Southwind" Zhi-Lin and Vici Gaming's Lu "Leyan" Jue were issued a formal warning and fines for behavior during their personal streams that were deemed inappropriate and unprofessional, during their personal streams.
In a Weibo post, Invictus Gaming declared that Southwind had used "uncivilized expressions and inappropriate remarks" that "caused negative effects" during his live stream on July 11. He was fined 50,000 yuan (about 6,255 € / $7091).
The claims against Leyan are quite similar. He allegedly used "inappropriate expressions and expressions of uncivilized language" during a recent live stream. The team also said, "As a professional player and public figure, Leyan should lead by example," also said Vici Gaming. Leyan was fined one month's salary.
These two sanctions echo the case of Yan "Wei" Yang-Wei. Last month, eStar's jungler forgot to properly choose his Summoner's Spells during a pro match — an oversight which had cost him a fine equivalent to one month's salary.
