Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone: Everything You Need to Know About Season 4

The next season of post-launch content for both Modern Warfare and Warzone is right around the corner and it's expected that it's going to be bigger and better than ever! (Expect a HUGE update...)

So far there has only been one official trailer for Season 4 for Modern Warfare and Warzone and from this trailer, we can already get a rough idea as to what is coming in the new season.

Here's absolutely everything that you need to know about Season 4!

Return of the Captain

It's official. Captain Price is arriving to Modern Warfare and Warzone as the latest Operator. Alongside him is Sergeant Kyle Garrick, the playable character from the Modern Warfare campaign, who is expected to be released later on in the season.

The release of Captain Price ties into a teaser that was released towards the end of May which is teasing an in-game event taking place in Verdansk.

Scrapyard to Return

At the end of the trailer, you are able to see an overview of a classic Modern Warfare 2 map within the Season 4 text.

Scrapyard is set for a return to Modern Warfare as part of the new season. It has already featured in the game, as part of the Zhokov Boneyard Ground War map.

As for original content, we will have to wait and see what Infinity Ward has in store or whether it will fall back on old content, much to the dismay of fans crying out for something new.

New Weapons

If you look carefully in the teasers and the trailer, there are two new weapons that feature - The Vector and the Galil.

The Galil looks to be a different variation on a weapon that has frequently featured in Black Ops games. The Vector appears to be a slight rework of the powerful SMG that featured in Call of Duty: Ghosts.

These are new weapons to Modern Warfare but these weapons have appeared before, leaving no original weapons....

Warzone Event?

Speculation surrounding the Bunker 11 Easter Egg and what it entails continues to swirl around the Call of Duty community, with some signs pointing towards an in-game event taking place to celebrate the launch of Season 4.

Whether the nuclear bomb will go off and make way for a brand-new map or it will reveal the new title remains to be seen. Perhaps something will happen on June 3rd?
