LoL: Wild Rift alpha coming to Brazil and Philippines

Ten years after the release of League of Legends, Riot Games celebrated their decade by announcing several new games and contents, including Legends of Runeterra, Valorant, and one mysterious fighting game they still haven't revealed...

In the process, the publisher also introduced League of Legends: Wild Rift to the community, a mobile version of their first-ever game. Months after this announcement, a testing link appeared on Wild Rift's Play Store page, allowing to download a client that was connected to... nothing.

Riot Games apologized for the issue, and took the opportunity to announce the arrival of an alpha test in Brazil and the Philippines.

Although it's a copy of League of Legends, Wild Rift is a bit different from the PC version. The Summoner's Rift has been reworked to make games quicker and controls easier to use.

Moreover, the entire champion pool won't be available at launch: at the beginning, only 40 of them will be playable, but Riot promises that others will progressively be implemented into the game.

Just like League of Legends, Wild Rift will be a free-to-play game, but it will also have its own Ranked solo queue.
