Once again it's a former CS:GO player who joins the ranks of T1's Valorant roster. By joining the Korean organization, food officially becomes the team's fourth player alongside brax, AZK and crashies.

Many structures try their luck in Valorant and decide to build their own roster while the game is still in its beta version. It must be said that Riot Games' FPS has all the weapons to become one of the biggest competitive scenes of the next few years.

T1 was among the first to take a more serious interest in it. By hiring brax as the first professional player of its brand new team, the organization had made a daring yet winning bet.

It didn't take long for the former CS:GO fallen player and his new teammates to win three tournaments in just a few days: the 100 Thieves Invitational, the T1 Invitational and the Code Green Invitational.

The team now has four players with the recent addition of food, also coming from CS:GO. Following the announcement, he told ESPN that he hopes the fans he has on Valve's game will still support him on Valorant, and that all his new fans will do the same.

The least we can say is that this team is starting to seriously develop and may well be feared in future competitions. It currently consists of:

  • Braxton "brax" Pierce
  • Keven "AZK" Larivière
  • Austin "crashies" Roberts
  • Victor  "food" Wong

On May 7, Daniel " fRoD " Montaner — former CS: GO professional player for Complexity Gaming and Evil Geniuses — also joined them as Head Coach. We'll have to wait until the next competition to see what all of these individualities can do together.
