Overwatch League: Kruise leaves Paris Eternal for Toronto Defiant to replace Kellex

The Overwatch League is going through a lot of changes — whether at team level or about the gameplay. Despite all the problems caused by COVID-19, players leaving teams must be replaced in particular. While external recruitment is always possible, the most practical way to avoid potential visa and travel problems for players is through exchanges.

Kellex's departure

It's the end of an Overwatch career for Kristian "Kellex" Keller — former healer for Toronto Defiant and more recently Boston Uprising. He started his professional career with Fragsters, a Danish esports organization with which he won several Go4 Overwatch tournaments in 2016. Kellex was also a member of the Danish Overwatch World Cup team in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

For the rest of the season he will be replaced by Kruise, coming straight from Paris Eternal.

Paris Eternal

Harrison "Kruise" Pond was one of the founding members of Paris Eternal. He formed a support duo with Hyp, until the arrival of Greyyy who came to reinforce the line up as Flex Support. Since the arrival of FDGoD this season, he hadn't had the opportunity to play much in the team.

His arrival at Toronto Defiant should allow him to play more often, where he will team up with KariV. He will share this role with RoKy.
