Vanguard, Valorant anti-cheat system, seems to be a bit too sensitive. Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas Colocho paid the price yesterday afternoon. In the middle of a match, he decided to plug his phone into his computer to charge it. He was instantly disconnected from the game and banned by mistake. The situation was filmed live on his stream.
According to Mixwell, a similar misadventure also happened to LotharHS when he connected his phone to his computer. Even if in the past some people cheated in competitions with software directly in their mouse, it's certainly likely to get the same thing over cell phones. It's still hard to imagine that Mixwel activated a cheat live streaming.
For those who don't know Mixwell, he comes from Counter-Strike competitive scene where he starts his career in 2012, in a small Spanish team. He has recently worked for Cloud9, G2 Esports and has been very successful at OpTic Gaming. If some CS:GO players may have reputations to be linked to cheats like Flusha, this isn't the case for Mixwell who is obviously only the victim of a somewhat oversensitive anti-cheat system.
