After a split in which he clearly underperformed, the future of ADC veteran seems jeopardized as his team is apparently ready to trade his contract.

Doublelift has been part of the League of Legends esports since the very beginning. In a career of ups and downs, he has played for Counter Logic Gaming, Team SoloMid, and joined Team Liquid in 2017 to become the savior the team needed.

However, since the beginning of the 2020 Spring Split, Doublelift's performances have been quite poor — and this split the four-time champions didn't even reach Playoffs.

Of course, the visa issues surrounding the import of former Fnatic jungler Mads "Broxah" Brock-Petersen played a big role in Team Liquid's failures — but the ADC player admitted himself that he had a period where he kind of lost motivation.

It remains to be seen whether any team will show interest in Peng's availability. Until then, the future of the ADC veteran seems shaky.

I feel like he needs to go. He's been like this for a long time. Hell he did this to TSM in 2017, and now again in 2020? I don't think hes "broken" strong or anything. At the moment, even with his mechanical skill, he is mid tier talent. Add to that his stupid attitude that he brings out occasionally, its really hard to continue treating him like the best ADC in NA anymore.
