Google has announced an offer that gives players free access to Google Stadia Pro for two months. A cloud gaming service initially launched in 2019, this offer is in part a response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and allows you to discover at least seven free games.

Google Stadia Pro is now free with a two-month trial

For a few weeks now, Google and its cloud gaming platform, Stadia, have been offering an alternative to the containment blues.

The Google Stadia Pro plan is currently free for two months after registration (instead of $9.99 per month).

You will still have to provide your bank details, but you can simply deactivate the direct debit so that no payment will be taken at the end of these two months.

Of course, once this period ends the free games you can see below will no longer be available, and you will need to re-subscribe to take advantage of them once again.

  • Take advantage of the free Stadia Pro offer

It's also important to note that, by default, Google limits the frame rate of games to 60fps and the resolution to 1080p. This is to reduce the bandwidth used during the containment period as many services are doing, but is one that you can remedy in your own settings.
