As part of the Grass-type Pokémon month, Niantic announced changes to attacks and Grass-type Pokémon on Pokémon GO.

Attack changes in Pokémon GO

The following attacks have been updated in the game:

  • Bullet Seed generates energy quicker
  • Energy Ball is charged quicker and now lowers Defense by one stage
  • Leaf Tornado now has a chance of decreasing your opponent's attack by 1 or 2 stages.
  • Ancient Power now does less damag
  • Silver Wind now does less damage
  • Ominous Wind now does less damage and charges slower

New attacks for Grass-type Pokémon

The following Grass-type Pokémon will be able to learn from attacks that they did not previously have access to:
