All player transfers before the LCS and LEC Summer Split

Summer Split in Europe and North-America will kick off soon: LEC on June 7, and LCS on June, 1. In the meantime, organizations keep on announcing player changes in their teams. Here is the list of all transfers which have been announced between both Splits.

LEC Transfers

After the Spring Split, SK Gaming replaced the toplaner Toni "Sacre" Sabalic by Jorge "Werlyb" Casanovas Moreno-Torres, from their academy team.

Schalke 04 have announced the joining of the midlaner Kim "Trick" Gang Yun.

Big news from Misfits: they have announced a 10-player roster, merging with their academy team. We'll see how they will organize this double roster, like more and more teams do over the years.

Fnatic was certainly the most disappointing team during the Spring Split, after going to the World Championship finals. To upgrade their roster, Fnatic promoted Daniel "Dan" Hockley from the Academy team, as a substitute jungler with Broxah.

Excel was not looking good in the LEC Spring Split. After a mitigated performance, they made some changes in the botlane, by hiring Petter "Hjarnan" Freyschuss. Well-known over the years for having played in Vitality, G2 Esports or ROCCAT, he played in the Austrian league for this 2019 Spring Split (in Ad Hoc Gaming). He now comes back in the European league by joining Excel.

Excel also hired a new head coach: David "DLim" Lim, who left FC Schalke 04. He had joined Europe after several years of coaching in the North-American scene, and the player Son "Mickey" Young Min.

A rookie has joined Rogue: Finn "Finn" Wiestål. He has previously competed in the Sweden league in Ultraliga. Stepping on the big stage is a huge opportunity for him and he will have to prove himself!

Rogue has announced several changes before the Summer Split. Marcin "Selfie" Wolski, previously in FlyQuest Academy, has been traded for Wadid. He will thus join the LEC team for Summer Split and replace Chres "Sencux" Laursen. Kikis also parted ways with the team.

On May 28, Rogue have announced another addition to their roster: the joining of the promising player Kacper "Inspired" Sloma. They also have announced a 10-player roster, merging with the academy team. For Rogue, everything has yet to be built for this Summer Split, and it will be exciting to see how this new roster will fit among the other teams.

LCS Transfers

After years of competing in Europe, South-Korean player Kim "Wadid" Baein has left Rogue to join FlyQuest in the LCS Summer Split, as a support player.

The FC Schalke 04 jungler who shook the EU scene in 2018, Maurice "Amazing" Stückenschneider, had made a turn by starting the LEC Spring Split as a manager. After several months of experience in his new job, he ultimately joined 100 Thieves back as a player, for the LCS Summer Split. Let's hope that he recovers all of his skills as a jungler for the upcoming matches!

Another change of position in League of Legends esports: the very well-known South-Korean player, Kim "Reignover" Yeujin, left CLG and his jungler position to serve as a coach for Cloud9. This is a turning point in his career after 6 years of experience as a pro player.

CLG went looking in the Turkish region to find their new toplaner: Kim "Ruin" Hyeongmin. The South-Korean player competed in the TCL Spring Split in 1907 Fenerbahçe, which is currently the best team in the regional league. He has joined CLG for the LCS Summer Split on May, 13.

LCS Summer Split will kick off on June, 1 and the LEC will start a week later, on June 7. Don't miss it!
