Tick Tock Boom! It's time to start teasing again. On its social networks, Fortnite has posted another image full of clues about the arrival of the next season. It shows golden sticks of dynamite in the foreground. Throughout the rest of the image and in several languages, the message is crystal clear: "DANGER".
You should know that the Dynamite is an item that has appeared in the battle royale during update 6.30. It has since been vaulted, but this explosive had interesting statistics and effects:
- Uncommon rarity, found in stacks of 3.
- Available from floor loot, chests, Vending Machines, Supply Llamas, and Supply Drops.
- 70 damage to players and 800 damage to structures.
- Explosion is in the shape of a flat cylinder that is 1600 units in diameter and 384 units in height.
- Initiating a throw will start a 5-second fuse that can’t be canceled.
- Throw range is shorter than standard Grenades.
- When on the ground, there is a quick chance to pick them back up and re-throw then, though it is a risky move depending on how long it was on the ground.
It was a tool of choice for demolishing large constructions.
In the plot that begins to take shape around Chapter 2 Season 2, Dynamite could be used in many ways.
The armored door that guards the underground bunker seems to have a major role in the unfolding of events. Its destruction seems to be caused only by a powerful explosive, such as Dynamite.
It can also be assumed that it was used for drilling underground, to find gold.
The evolving teasing of the "Transmission Intercepted" image is now available in-game. A mini sequence is shown to players who launch Fortnite.
