Pokemon Sword, Pokemon Shield: Walkthrough part 10, from Motostoke to Hammerlocke

You are back on the Wild Area. Hammerlocke is on your left but you can take the opportunity to capture some Pokémon. As a reminder, you can consult our Wild Area Guide to find out which Pokémon to find.

After crossing the Motostoke Riverbanks, the Bridge Field, the Stony Wilderness, the Giant's Cap, the Dusty Bowl, the Giant's Mirror, and the Dusty Bowl and the Hammerlocke Hills, you will finally reach the city of Hammerlocke.

The Bridge Field

You will find a Water Stone on the far left of the Field

On the far right of the Field:

  • Two brothers dressed in green can dig up Treasures for $500 Pokedollars.
  • A Pokémon Daycare
  • A Man (next to the Daycare) allowing you to participate in the Rotom Rally, or to change your biking outfit. The Rotom Rally is a speed race. For example, in 80 seconds you must reach East Lake Axewell, while collecting as many balloons as possible. Be careful, wild Pokémon will slow you down. In your first race, you will win the TM14 Thunder Wave.

Heading North

You will come across Chairman Rose and Oleana as this is Hammerlocke Stadium. The President explains that this is not just a stadium but a Reactor that provides electricity to power all of Galar. Its objective is to collect as many Wishing Star as possible to extract their power and never to run out of gas, water and electricity.

  • The man dressed as a Pokéball will offer you a Level Ball.

To hope to defeat Raihan, the champion of Hammerlocke, you will need to collect 7 badges!

It is therefore time to return to the West of the city and go to the Hammerlocke Vault.

On the way, you will be stopped by Leon. He wonders why Hop disappeared and you explain that it' s because of his defeat against Bede.

Continue your route to the left. You will arrive in front of the Hammerlocke Vault. Raihan will greet you and take you to the room. He will also give you his League Card.

Pokémon Sword and Shield

Going up the first stairs, you will find the TM29 Charm.

Join Sonia in the room filled with tapestries recounting Galar's story. From what we understand: two men were contemplating Wishing Star. When all of a sudden, the sky darkens to make way for the Void. A Sword and Shield are then granted to them to repel Disaster. They are then crowned sovereigns and crowned.

Sonia will offer you 2 Revive.

Pokémon Sword and Shield

Your next goal is to get to Stow-on-Side, via Route 6.

All you have to do is take the bridge to the left of the Hammerlocke Vault.
