Pokemon GO: Shiny Rayquaza comes to Raid Battles!

The legendary Pokémon Rayquaza make a triumphant return to Level 5 Raid Battles, available July 31–September 2 — and as usual, this means you also have the chance to capture its Shiny Form!

One of the most powerful and popular Pokemon in the franchise, Rayquaza returns ito Raid Battles as a Tier 5 boss, from July 31 to September 2, 2019.

For the first time since the game was created, this Legendary Pokémon will be available in Shiny Form!

Officially, your chance of finding a Shiny Rayquaza is 5% per Raid Battle — one for every 20 raids.

How do you counter Rayquaza?

There are no real secrets to defeating Rayquaza — his double weakness against Ice-type Pokémon and attacks means he is relatively easy prey. Just take care to avoid playing other Dragon-types against him, because Rayquaza makes an easy meal of them!
