The nerf of the AUG has thrust the M16 tactical rifle into the spotlight. Find the best loadout for Warzone in our guide!

The Best M16 Loadout To Use In Warzone

After the AUG received a hefty nerf in recent Warzone updates, the title of best weapon is up for grabs, with several weapons being used to great effect.

Although the AUG has fallen out of favour, the burst metagame is still in favour, with the M16 tactical rifle quickly filling the shoes that the AUG left behind.

With a variety of different attachment combinations to equip thanks to the Gunsmith, it can be tricky to determine which are the best to use. After a bit of experimentation, we believe we have found the very best M16 loadout to use in Warzone.

Find all the information below.

M16 Warzone Best Attachments

Find the deadliest set of attachments to use on the M16 below:

  • SOCOM Eliminator (Muzzle)
  • 15.9" Strike Team (Barrel)
  • Axial Arms 3x (Optic)
  • Salvo 60 Rnd Fast Mag (Ammunition)
  • SFOD Speed Grip (Underbarrel)

This particular combination of attachments improves accuracy levels alongside a slight boost in the fire rate, bringing it in line with some of the faster firing rifles in the battle royale.

The choice of SOCOM Eliminator reduces recoil levels to a minimum, enabling players to take down a target with ease.

Best M16 Warzone Loadout

Once the M16 is fully equipped with the best attachments, the remainder of the loadout is just as important in order to achieve success in all situations.

Secondary

MAC-10

Selecting the MAC-10 SMG as a secondary weapon is ideal for dealing any enemies that do get too close for comfort.

The fast rate of fire combined with minimal levels of recoil and high damage output enables the MAC-10 to shred through armor and down opponents extremely quickly.

Grenades

  • Semtex (Lethal)
  • Heartbeat Sensor (Tactical)

Semtex is the perfect tool to deal some additional damage. It's also extremely fast to throw one which can be the difference between taking down an enemy or not securing a kill.

The heartbeat sensor is currently the meta, granting players the ability to locate the opposition in the nearby area.

Perks

  • EOD (Perk 1)
  • Overkill (Perk 2)
  • Amped (Perk 3)

This combination of Perks has become the standard for those that love to get in amongst the action.

EOD increases resistance to explosives while Overkill allows players to select two primary weapons in their respective loadout.

The third and final Perk is Amped. It provides an increase in weapon swap speed, which enables players to switch to the MAC-10 quickly.
