The first hours in Cyberpunk 2077 are quite intimidating with its five unusual Attributes and twelve Perks — each linked to a talent tree. It's quite normal to wonder what is best to progress, whether it's in the fights or in the dialogues.
There is no absolute answer to this and the most important thing is to play in a way that you like. Since the game isn't particularly difficult, you can do as you wish. Here are some good tips and explanations in different areas that will help you significantly.
You start the game with 22 Attribute Points at Level 1, then you receive one per level. The maximum level being 50, making a total of 71 Attribute Points. You can have a maximum of three Attributes at Level 20, but the story will be over long before you get there.
1 — Body
It isn't going to be unanimous, but we believe that the best Attribute is Body. It increases your charge, your life, the damage with all melee weapons. It also allows you to use the best cybernetic implants as well as weapons that have a Body prerequisite.
In addition, many pieces of equipment can only be opened with a high Body score — with no other alternatives. This also makes it possible to solve a lot of dialogues. All in all, this makes it the best primary or secondary Attribute of the game.
2 — Intelligence
Hacking is incredibly useful in Cyberpunk. In combat, it can turn you into an invisible angel of death capable of emptying a base of enemies without having to enter the area. Some quests and dialogues also make use of it.
It's especially via the datamining of the data nodes that hacking shines. It'll bring you a fortune, with an average of €$2,000 by completing the three codes.
Finally, this is one of the few areas where reaching Level 20 with the skills is relatively easy.
3 — Technical Ability
Crafting can help you greatly, even if it's ultimately dispensable and only really pays off in the long run. Being able to open many accesses and passages is a major advantage for any character.
Nevertheless, it's partly redundant with Body and with Intelligence since it allows you to disable cameras, turrets and mines as you approach. This makes it a good secondary or tertiary Attribute for those who like to have a maximum of options.
Having said that, fighting using only grenades is ridiculously easy and enjoyable — so that makes it a good fighting statistic too.
