This challenge is part of Fortnite Season 4 Week 6 Challenges and you'll have to eat a legendary fish during one of your games. The current season has considerably increased the number of fish varieties that can be found on Apollo Island. The Mythic Goldfish isn't the only fish of legendary quality to be found in-game.
Even if the other legendary fish are still quite difficult to catch, there are now a number of them. The Vendetta Flopper, Midas Flopper and Thermal Fish will interest us for this challenge.
Before starting a successful fishing trip, any experienced fisherman should make sure of two things:
- To have a quiet and fishy fishing spot
- Have good equipment
These will be your only two prerogatives for this challenge. On the map below, you'll find some nice and relatively uncrowded fishing spots, which we warmly recommend.
As far as equipment is concerned, the best remains the Pro Fishing Rod (Rare). It will guarantee you better drop rates on rare, epic and legendary fish. A standard rod or even a harpoon rifle can also do the trick.
Fishing rods can be found in wooden barrels, on pontoons and banks, on the water's edge.
Once you're ready, all you have to do is fish in the schools of fish, materialized by white eddies. The Thermal Fish should bite the hook after a few attempts!
