This challenge is part of Fortnite Season 4 Week 5 Challenges and you'll have to destroy Gorgers. These devices were sent to Apollo Island by Galactus through patch 14.10. They collect weapons, generate gatherers and attack players with red laser beams.
Gorgers dn't explicitly appear on your mini map, and they can be difficult to find. According to some analysts, they're more likely to appear in the southern half of the island, and even more so in the southwestern quarter. Note that they can drift a few hundred meters, depending on the games.
The most efficient method to find them is to take a Choppa to fly over the island.
Some helicopter locations
Once you've found a gorger, it's time to fight and defeat it. Taking down the machine can be a little tricky, especially if you're on your own. The trick is to keep moving to avoid its ultimate shots.
There are two ways to deal damage to a Wolverine:
- Shoot its central eye when open.
- Pull in the orange side hatches when they open to propel gatherers.
Gorgers have a lot of HPs, but you should end up dropping them. In order not to waste too much ammo, you can pick up a destroyed gatherer and use it as a weapon!
